Description

Indulge in a hand-crafted collection of Bournville favourites with this illustrated chocolate box by local illustrator Milan Topalovic. This card is a unique memento of what makes Bournville so special, and each feature it depicts has real meaning…

The Bournville Carillon ~ A perfectly crafted recipe inspired by George Cadbury’s visit to Bruges in 1906, the stirring bells and rich notes of the carillon are quite the treat at 17.5 tonnes.

The Red Steam Engine ~ Bought in 1925 by Cadbury to transport essential materials, the red locomotive mirrored tins of drinking chocolate, the product that originally paved the way for the production of chocolate bars.

The Tree on the Green ~ One of the most loved pleasures in the collection. Best served at Christmas with a generous icing of fairy lights.

The Yachting Pool ~ A luxury you can enjoy at any time of day. Enjoy with a dusting of sunset for an unforgettable taste of Bournville.

The Rest House ~ In spring 1914, George & Elizabeth Cadbury unwrapped this “delightful and appropriate gift” to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.

Bournville Park ~ With perfectly selected ingredients, enjoy a blissful moment to yourself across from the famous chocolate makers.

Selly Manor ~ The sweet centre of Bournville. George Cadbury preserved the essence of Selly Manor, moving the site in 1913 with all the flavour of the original Rookery rescued by Cadbury.

Terpsichore ~ The refreshing fountain marked the centenary of Cadbury in 1931, lavishly topped with the goddess of song, dance & eternal youth. A perfect place to enjoy silky chocolate scents.

Lazarica ~ Sprinkled with the support of the Cadbury family. the opulent Serbian Orthodox Church is a continental delicacy, fashioned in a classic Byzantine mould.

“If each man could have his own house, a large garden to cultivate and healthy surroundings – then, I thought, there will be for them a better opportunity of a happy family life.” – George Cadbury
