Description

Selly Manor is a Tudor manor rescued from demolition by chocolate manufacturer George Cadbury and moved to the historic garden village of Bournville in the early 1900s, and alongside stands the medieval hall of Minworth Greaves. Two of Birmingham’s oldest buildings, they contain the Laurence Cadbury Collection of early furniture and domestic objects.

The museum stands in the heart of the local community and stages a host of events throughout the year from children’s activities to exhibitions and theatre performances to heritage talks. The knowledgeable and friendly team welcome thousands of school children for fun interactive experiences and conduct regular guided tours of the museum and Bournville.

Selly Manor Museum relies on the support of its wonderful visitors. Please help us to continue our vital work in ensuring this valuable heritage asset and community resource is preserved for generations to come. Your kind donation will go towards the upkeep of the buildings, collection and the important work it does to promote heritage across the region. We thank you for your support.
