Our new guidebook takes a journey through the intimate rooms of Dove Cottage, its gardens, and the highlights of the collection displayed in our museum, to illuminate the stories in the place William referred to as ‘my home, this valley my world’

Written by principal curator Jeff Cowton, with a foreword by director Michael McGregor, this richly illustrated publication is guided throughout by William and Dorothy Wordsworth’s own words, and features a history of the Wordsworth Trust, along with reproductions of manuscripts and artworks in our collection.
