The tickets are not date specific except for certain special events. They can be converted to an annual ticket by adding gift aid. Fill in a gift aid form in the shop and receive your annual pass. Ask for your wristband at the gate.

You can add a museum guide and/or a children’s activity book for £5 each. The museum guide explains the history of the museum and the major exhibits. The children’s guide contains a trail around the museum with interesting and fun facts along the way. It also contains puzzles for you to solve. Complete the trail and head back to the shop for your pin badge. Collect your guides from the shop.

Enhance your visit by engaging with our friendly and knowledgeable guides. If you fancy the real experience visit the shop to purchase a ticket for access to some of our aircraft. Once again one of our volunteers will guide you around the cockpits and tell you all about them (refer two aircraft images).

Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is a collection of over 60 aircraft and 30,000 artefacts set in the rural Waveney Valley on the Norfolk and Suffolk border just outside Bungay in the village of Flixton.

The museum comprises two hangars, two linked buildings and four other themed buildings for Bomber Command, Air Sea Rescue, 6 Group Royal Observer Corps and 446 Bomb Group USAAF who were based at the nearby Flixton Airfield. A visit to the museum can take half a day through to several days. Many of the volunteers regularly find things they hadn’t noticed before, many of whom have been volunteering for many years.
