This summer, there’s a foodie adventure waiting at Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life! Follow our Food & Drink themed trail around the museum, with play stations to stop off at along the way, all included in normal admission, with accompanied children going free.
For something extra, try Crafty Tuesdays (drop-in, £3 per child) and Fun Thursdays (a different food-themed activity each week, drop-in included in admission) throughout the summer holidays.
Plus all our usual family-friendly fun, ride-on toys, dressing up, toys and games throughout the galleries.
Open Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–4pm.

Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life is a treasure trove of fascinating objects and quirky artefacts that tell the incredible stories of the people who lived and worked in Mid Devon. Our outstanding collections range from the impressive ‘Tivvy Bumper’ GWR steam engine and local lace-making heritage, to traditional farm waggons, agriculture, and everyday home life. Alongside booking to explore the galleries, you can also book tickets here for our wide programme of events — from illustrated talks and guided walks on local history, to family-friendly holiday activities, toddler sessions, and special event days that bring Mid Devon’s history to life.
