Memory Bank 2027 – February

Join us at the museum from 2pm for Memory Bank – an afternoon of reminiscing and sharing stories and memories from the past. These relaxed, friendly sessions are suitable for people with mild to moderate, or no dementia. We’ll provide photographs and objects from the museum collections – we’d love to hear your stories over a cuppa!
Carers welcome. £3 per person (£2.50 for museum members)

Our outstanding collections range from the impressive ‘Tivvy Bumper’ GWR steam engine and local lace-making heritage, to traditional farm waggons, agriculture, and everyday home life. Alongside booking to explore the galleries, you can also book tickets here for our wide programme of events — from illustrated talks and guided walks on local history, to family-friendly holiday activities, toddler sessions, and special event days that bring Mid Devon’s history to life.
