Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is a collection of over 60 aircraft and 30,000 artefacts set in the rural Waveney Valley on the Norfolk and Suffolk border just outside Bungay in the village of Flixton.

The museum comprises two hangars, two linked buildings and four other themed buildings for Bomber Command, Air Sea Rescue, 6 Group Royal Observer Corps and 446 Bomb Group USAAF who were based at the nearby Flixton Airfield. A visit to the museum can take half a day through to several days. Many of the volunteers regularly find things they hadn’t noticed before, many of whom have been volunteering for many years.
Don’t delay, plan your visit to East Anglia’s Aviation Heritage Centre soon.
