Such a popular event that this year we are running it twice! On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November, come and learn how to make a spectacular natural festive wreath using locally gathered seasonal plants. Led by Gwyneth Hardy, who was executive producer of the Beechgrove Gardens for 30 years.

Innerpeffray is the home of Scotland’s first free, public lending library, established in 1680 by David Drummond, 3rd Lord Madertie. His idea that people could take the books home to read them was a radical one at the time, and he wanted his library to be here “for time coming”; a vision we stand by today. The Library is a fascinating door into the past where you can explore the stories of the people who borrowed books and visited the Library. We offer guided tours and a chance to handle the books for yourself. The site at Innerpeffray also includes the medieval chapel of St Mary (in the care of Historic Environment Scotland) and the Victorian schoolroom where visitors can find refreshments with a self-serve tea & coffee machine. Situated in rural Perthshire, the grounds of the Library also offer a pleasant riverside walk. We hold a varied programme of events throughout the year, from talks and workshops to theatre, fairs and a festival. General admission tickets and tickets for events can be booked online here.
